Most lettings agents are caught in the trap of the balancing act between trying to keep tenants happy and keeping landlords happy, which sometimes can be a cause for conflict.
Unlike many lettings agents we are landlords ourselves who have also been tenants, so understand the need to attract and retain good quality tenants whilst keeping costs to a minimum. For instance, we think it’s madness to charge you if a happy tenant wants to continue to stay in their home – so we don’t charge landlords tenancy renewal fees, end of story!
Rest assured that we will always ask you before instructing repairs, subject to our pre-authorisation level that we’ll agree between us and also subject to ensuring that we remain on the right side of the law!
We are also able to offer Rentguard insurance.
We want to keep both the landlord and tenant happy, which can be a difficult act, but in our experience many problems are caused more by a lack of communication than the time it takes issues to be resolved.
As you’ll have read elsewhere on our website, we don’t have expensive shop premises to pay for – which means that you don’t have to subsidise our rates or gas bill.
