We’ve dealt with a number of different lettings agents over the past seven years, both as tenants and landlords.

Over the years we’ve thought about setting up and running our own lettings company, but have always resisted the temptation until now.

So why now?

  • Estate agents are selling fewer houses, they’re looking to maximize other income streams, meaning they’ve increased their tenant finding fee, some to one month’s rent and their monthly management fees, whilst reducing staff numbers
  • Many landlords are rejecting the standard lettings model and letting their property themselves
  • As landlords and agents for other landlords, we were paying more and more for an ever reducing level of service.
